A Girl “Worth Melting For.”

Name: Emma

Interests: Swimming, playing outside, watching Cocomelon and Disney movies, terrorizing her brothers

Diagnosis: Desmoid Tumor

Cap Heroes: Anna and Elsa from Frozen

In Disney’s Frozen, Olaf the snowman said, “Some people are worth melting for.” Emma is one of those people.

This spunky little girl was diagnosed with cancer at age two and started chemo shortly after. The tumor grew around a facial nerve and left her face paralyzed. Still, Emma still has plenty to smile about – including her hat from Caps for Kids.

Like the charismatic princesses from Arendelle, Emma is full of energy and is on the go non-stop. While she loves that both Elsa and Anna signed her hat, she admits that Elsa is her favorite. Why? “Because she can make it snow.”

“Emma loves the music from Frozen, and it’s a big deal having something that was signed especially for her from Elsa and Anna.” – Emma’s mom
