About 4,000 children are diagnosed with Leukemia every year in the United States. This year, to the shock of all his family and friends, ten-year-old Ethan from the state of Washington was one of them.

Despite his diagnosis, Ethan is a happy, easy-going boy who gets a lot of joy out of both playing and watching soccer. We were pleased to be able to send him a cap signed, not only by his favorite soccer player, but in his favorite color.

In the words of Pelé, another great soccer player, “The more difficult the victory, the greater the happiness in winning.” We look forward to hearing many happy stories from Ethan in the future.
